July 15–17, 2026, Mr. Pipat Saksirikasemkul, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, and Assistant Professor Thitirat Muenanan, a lecturer in the Interior Architecture Program, College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), participated in the International Conference on Integrative STEM Education 2026 (iSTEM-Ed 2026) at The Empress Hotel, Chiang Mai. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the theme “Driving the Future Through Integrative STEM for Sustainable Innovation.”

At the conference, faculty members from the College of Architecture presented two research papers:

“Self-decoding Art: A STEAM Pedagogy for Creative Identity Development in Interior Architecture”

“Simulation of Smart Home through Paper-Based Model for Enhancing STEAM Learning and Skills”

Presented by Mr. Pipat Saksirikasemkul, Assistant Professor Dr. Suriyan Chansawang, Assistant Professor Patinya Saeng-arun, and Dr. Apirak Thitinฤmit

Participation in this international academic conference provided an opportunity to disseminate the faculty members’ research and academic contributions to an international audience, while also facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and academic perspectives with researchers from various institutions. The event further contributed to building research and academic collaboration networks and supporting the continuous advancement of teaching and learning, research, and innovation in architecture and education toward international standards.
