On July 20, 2026, the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), organized an Interior Architecture Design Workshop for Semester 1/2026 at the Chorkaew Meeting Room, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and professional experience in interior architecture through learning from an experienced professional in the design industry.

The College was honored to have Ms. Phanphilai Baiyoke, former President of the Thai Interior Designers’ Association (TIDA) and a member of the Board of Baiyoke Sky Hotel, as the guest speaker. She delivered a lecture on “Strategies for Hotel Design and Decoration to Meet Current Market Demands,” sharing her professional experience and insights into designing hotel spaces that respond to user behavior and current market needs. She also discussed common challenges encountered in professional practice and practical approaches to addressing them, allowing students to learn from real-world cases and apply the knowledge to their studies and future design projects.

The workshop reflected the College of Architecture’s commitment to enhancing students’ professional capabilities by connecting academic knowledge with practical experience from industry professionals. The initiative aims to prepare students to become qualified designers who can effectively respond to the evolving demands of the design and hospitality industries in the future.
