
On August 7, 2026, the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), organized a special lecture as part of ARD4207: Architectural Design 7 for fourth-year students in the Architecture Program at the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The College was honored to welcome Dr. Weerapun Chinnawat as the guest speaker for the lecture titled “A Hotter World: What Architects Should Know.” The lecture provided knowledge and perspectives on the impacts of climate change on architectural design, while presenting design concepts and approaches that emphasize environmental considerations, efficient resource utilization, and the creation of built environments capable of responding to future challenges.

The lecture provided students with an opportunity to learn from an experienced professional, exchange ideas, and further develop their knowledge of architectural design in response to the context of today’s changing world. The activity also contributed to preparing students for the architectural profession, with an emphasis on creating responsible and sustainable design solutions that benefit both society and the environment.
