Architecture Students Present Research at an International Conference 2026

Students from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, were selected to present their research at the The International Multidisciplinary Research Conference Tokyo 2026 (ICBTS 2026), held in Tokyo, Japan, during March 1–5, 2026. The participation was organized by the Language Institute of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to enhance students’ language proficiency and research presentation skills on an international academic stage.


On this occasion, the conference was honored by the presence of Rueadech Kerdwichai, Chairman of the University Council, and Chutikarn Srivibul, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, who attended the sessions and provided academic guidance and feedback to the participating students.


In addition, Conference Room B was chaired by Kawin Wongleedee, Director of the Language Institute of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, serving as Chairman, with Nattapat Kaewrattanaphat, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, serving as Co-Chairman of the conference session.


The students presenting their research were:


Noppol Nupinram, a fifth-year Architecture student.

Paper Title: “Architecture of Movement: A Study of Ritual, Motion, and Meditation in Muay Thai.”

Advisors: Somboon Wes and Chanokporn Phaitsitthikul.


Nattapat Jirachotpipat, a fifth-year Architecture student.

Paper Title: “Boat Docking Areas for Coastal Hotels: Interpreting Coastal Cultural Landscapes into Contemporary Architecture.”

Advisors: Somboon Wes and Chanokporn Phaitsitthikul.
