Continuing MOU Collaboration through Real-World Learning

The College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, continued its collaboration with the National Housing Authority (NHA) under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) covering education management, academic knowledge development, teaching and learning, and educational visits. As part of this collaboration, third-year Architecture students participated in an educational visit to the Din Daeng Community Urban Renewal Project, Phase 1 (Plot G Building).

The visit was part of the ARD3322 Building Systems 2 course, providing students with opportunities to learn from real spaces, including the implementation of the urban renewal project, building components, and related building systems. The activity helped connect classroom knowledge with professional practice in a real-world context.

The educational visit was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Suriyan Chansawang, Dean of the College of Architecture, together with Mr. Nirut Jiamjanyong, former Deputy Governor of the National Housing Authority, and Ms. Kamonporn Rungsang, a faculty member of the Architecture Program.

This activity represents another concrete outcome of the collaboration between Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and the National Housing Authority, bringing professional knowledge and practical experience into students’ learning. It also helped broaden their perspectives on architectural practice and prepare them for their future careers.
