Between April 7 and 11, 2026, the Faculty of Architecture at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized the thesis exhibition “Jeung Thesis Exhibition 2025” at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). The event showcased the creative works of final-year students to the public, providing a platform for knowledge exchange in architecture, design, and innovation aimed at addressing future challenges in urban development, communities, and the environment.

This exhibition resulted from an integrated learning process combining architecture, design, research, and real-world study. Students conducted field research on community contexts, environmental conditions, and spatial issues to develop design proposals that appropriately meet user and societal needs under the concept of sustainable development.

The exhibition featured 31 thesis projects, all aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The works addressed sustainable urban development, cultural heritage conservation and restoration, social design, enhancement of public quality of life and well-being, design for the elderly and vulnerable groups, and the application of technology and innovation to respond to environmental and climate changes.

During the exhibition period, 200 visitors from educational sectors, professional fields, government, private sectors, and the general public attended. External organizations also participated in studying the projects and exchanging knowledge, reflecting broad interest in the role of design in solving problems and promoting sustainable social development.

The exhibited works attracted attention from architecture professionals, academics, policymakers, and related agencies. They presented concepts and knowledge that could be applied concretely in planning, designing, and developing buildings, structures, and public spaces in the future, particularly emphasizing efficient resource use, environmental impact reduction, preservation of local identity, and creating environments conducive to public quality of life.

After the exhibition, all 31 thesis projects garnered interest or selection by government agencies, private sectors, or professional organizations to use as reference for design, planning, and development of buildings, structures, public spaces, or spatial development in the future. Participating institutions included the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Srinakharinwirot University; Silpakorn University; and Chulalongkorn University, demonstrating the architectural knowledge’s potential to create social value and benefits.

Furthermore, the event fostered opinion exchanges and collaboration networks to advance knowledge and develop design concepts for practical application in the field. Key collaboration areas are expected to enhance public quality of life and promote sustainable spatial development.

The “Jeung Thesis Exhibition 2025” was not only a platform showcasing students’ capabilities but also a vital mechanism for transferring knowledge from classrooms to society. It opened opportunities for various sectors to access innovations and design concepts applicable in real life, while creating a shared learning space among educational institutions, professional fields, government, and the public.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

• SDG 4: Quality Education through learning that links academic knowledge with real situations and social outcomes.
• SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through developing design concepts and innovations to solve problems and improve quality of life.
• SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities through proposals for sustainable urban, community, and building development.
• SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through creating networks among universities, government agencies, private sectors, and professional organizations to extend knowledge into practical use.

 The Faculty of Architecture at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University remains committed to improving teaching and research processes that positively impact society, encouraging students to be socially responsible designers who apply knowledge to develop buildings, structures, and public spaces meeting community and national needs, playing a crucial role in driving sustainable development in the future.
