On April 7, 2026, Dr. Suriyan Jansawang, Dean of the College of Architecture, together with staff members, participated in the event “Preserving the Beauty of Thai Traditions during Songkran Festival 2026.”

The ceremony included the ritual bathing of Buddha images and the statue of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana to bring auspicious blessings during the Songkran festival. Participants also paid respect and sought blessings from senior figures, including Associate Professor Dr. Chuangchote Phanthuwet (Former President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University), Associate Professor Dr. Ruedet Kerdvichai (Chairman of the University Council), Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon (President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University), Assistant Professor Dr. Anatti Tappinta, and Associate Professor Dr. Komol Paisan.

This important Songkran tradition reflects respect and gratitude toward elders, while receiving auspicious blessings for the new year.
