Design concept: The architectural design approach uses the shape and colors of Lego blocks. The building will be designed to look like stacked Lego blocks. Emphasizing simple but striking lines, using bright colors such as red, yellow, blue and green in the facade and some elements to reflect the identity of Lego. Some details such as window frames, pillars or awnings may be designed to resemble the locking buttons of Lego blocks.
Creating an atmosphere of being a “toy” uses a structure and a building form that looks like it was assembled from giant Lego pieces, designing the interior space to be fun and interactive, such as walls that can be changed or furniture that feels like being in a Lego world.
The building layout allows every room to have a sea view. The building is planned in a way that opens up to the maximum view of the sea. All rooms therefore receive a full view of nature. 30% of the open space will be designed as an outdoor garden and activity area with Lego elements as the main theme.
The hotel’s connection to the Legoland theme park will be designed in the lobby and common areas to be continuous with the theme park, so that guests feel as if they have stepped into the Lego world from the first sight.
