Design concept: As the number of pet owners in modern society has increased, designing suitable spaces for pets in shopping malls is a response to consumer demand. It also helps to create a friendly and modern atmosphere for the building, with an emphasis on meeting the comfort of both pets and owners.
This project studies the design of pet spaces in an architectural dimension, considering a case study of a shopping mall building that allocates pet spaces in various forms, such as walking areas, exercise areas, or various services. For pets, an area that can stimulate animals to use energy and develop physical skills, with an emphasis on using safe and appropriate materials and design techniques.
From the concept of designing such space, design principles that respond to both functionality and safety must be taken into account, leading to the design of the building inspired by the love, bond, and friendship of humans and pets, resulting in the architectural form of the building. Reflecting the building's harmony using a comprehensive analysis framework of functionality, safety and design materials to provide appropriate guidelines for the allocation of pet spaces in shopping malls.
