The College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), organized the “Walk Rally and Learn” New Student Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026 on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Theater Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Building. The program aimed to prepare first-year students for their studies in architecture while providing them with an understanding of the College’s educational approach, vision, and mission.

The morning session began with a report delivered by Ms. Sawalak Chueasuwan, Associate Dean for Student Affairs. This was followed by a welcome address and orientation remarks from Dr. Suriyan Chansawang, Dean of the College of Architecture, who also introduced the College’s administrators and faculty members to the new students.

As part of the academic preparation, students were introduced to the General Education (GE) courses and participated in a Library Orientation conducted by the Academic Resource Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The session provided students with essential knowledge and skills for information searching and the effective use of library and information resources in higher education.

In the afternoon, students participated in the “Walk Rally and Learn” activity, an out-of-classroom learning experience designed to help them explore the university campus and become familiar with its facilities and identity. The activities included a visit to the university library, an exploration of Thai history and cultural heritage at the Rattanakosin Arts Building (Building 3) organized by the Office of Arts and Culture, as well as paying respects to Her Royal Highness Princess Sunandha Kumariratana, the Royal Consort, as a blessing for the beginning of their university journey.

The orientation program was organized to help new students prepare for their academic journey, adapt to university life, and develop an understanding of the identity and values of the College of Architecture. It also aimed to support their development into qualified graduates equipped with the knowledge and potential to pursue successful careers in the architectural profession.

The College of Architecture extends its warmest congratulations and welcomes all new students of Academic Year 2026 to the SSRU Architecture family.
