Students from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) participated in the Presentation, Exhibition, and Competition of Local Innovation Projects for Community Problem-Solving through the Social Engineer Concept, held on July 13–14, 2026, at the Royal River Hotel, Bangkok. The event was organized by the Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The activity was organized as part of the Competency Development Project for Local Entrepreneurship through Soft Skills (Social Engineer), implemented under the Rajabhat Universities’ Strategy for Local Development for Fiscal Year 2026. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Morakot Worachairungrueang, Director of the Research and Development Institute, while Ms. Atitaya Buasri, Deputy Director for Intellectual Property Management and Enterprise Incubation, Research and Development Institute, delivered a report outlining the objectives and outcomes of the project.

The event provided students with an opportunity to present their project outcomes and showcase innovative works developed by applying the Social Engineer concept to address community challenges and support local development. Students also exchanged knowledge and experiences with experts, faculty members, and partner networks, enhancing their skills in analytical thinking, communication, collaboration with communities, and the development of innovations that can be further applied and utilized in local areas.

Prior to the competition, students participated in training on professional personality development and presentation skills to prepare them to effectively communicate their concepts and project outcomes to the public. The training was conducted by Ms. Suwita Pruksa-aphon, Deputy Director for Administration and Planning, Office of Academic Services, and a personality development specialist.

A total of 13 innovative projects were exhibited and presented in the competition, covering a wide range of areas, including education, value-added community products, packaging design, environmental conservation, tourism promotion, community product development, and the dissemination of legal knowledge for public benefit.
