On Thursday, August 6, 2026, first-year students from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), participated in the Wai Khru Ceremony and Scholarship Award Ceremony for Academic Year 2026 at the Suan Sunandha Health and Sports Center, 4th Floor. The ceremony was held to preserve Thailand’s cherished cultural tradition, express gratitude and respect toward teachers, promote morality and ethics, and encourage students in their academic pursuits.

During the ceremony, students took part in the traditional Wai Khru ritual, including reciting the Wai Khru prayer, presenting flower trays to their teachers, and making a pledge. They also received guidance and words of encouragement from the university’s administrators to support their studies, personal development, and journey toward becoming quality graduates.

Following the Wai Khru Ceremony, the university held the “Teerakul Warutbangkun” Fund Scholarship Award Ceremony for Academic Year 2026. The scholarships provide continuous financial support throughout the students’ programs for those with good academic performance, good conduct, and financial need. A total of 29 scholarships were awarded to support students in completing their education, reduce the financial burden on their families, and provide opportunities for them to develop their potential as quality graduates who can contribute to the country.

On this occasion, Ms. Anattaya Phongprapha, a first-year student in the Architecture Program, College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, received a scholarship from the “Teerakul Warutbangkun” Fund for Academic Year 2026. This achievement is a source of pride for the College and reflects its commitment to supporting students in accessing continuous educational opportunities while preparing them to become quality graduates with strong academic knowledge, moral values, and social responsibility.
