Brainstorming Session to Establish Guidelines for the Construction of a Refined Salt Factory in Samut Songkhram Province

Suriyan Chanwang, Dean of the College of Architecture, and Pipat Saksiriketsakul, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, attended a meeting with Chaisri Tarasawatpipat, along with a research team from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the same university, and representatives of the Thai Sea Salt Farmers Federation.


The meeting was also joined by Ms. Ketkaew Samphaothong and Mr. Thawatchai Kaewkongkha, advisors to the federation, to exchange ideas and determine guidelines for establishing a refined sea salt production plant in Samut Songkhram Province.


During the meeting, participants agreed to establish an operational committee, with the research team from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University serving as the main driving force in integrating knowledge and research across multiple dimensions. The initiative aims to support the sustainable development of the sea salt industry and create added value for local communities in the area.
