On Friday, 6 February 2026, the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized a special lecture for fourth-year students in the Architecture Program as part of the course ARD4208: Architectural Design VIII for the second semester of the 2025 academic year.

The college was honored to welcome Dr. Weerapan Chinnavat, former Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, as the guest speaker. He delivered a lecture on the topic “Architecture and Living with Water,” presenting concepts, perspectives, and real-world experiences related to architectural design in relation to water contexts.

The lecture highlighted the importance of water-sensitive design in contemporary architecture and its relevance to Thailand’s geographical and environmental context. The session was held at Room 4752, Building 47, College of Architecture, and via Zoom Meeting, with enthusiastic participation and close engagement from the students.
