Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University would like to thank the Logistics Office, Royal Thai Police, for giving us the opportunity to provide opportunities for 2nd and 4th year students. The students had the opportunity to study the construction of a building inside the Logistics Office on Nakhon Chai Si Road in Dusit District, which was a valuable experience that allowed them to learn about the actual construction process. Using construction control techniques and processes from experts in the field, with a briefing on the overall construction process, from planning to supervision, so that students understand how to systematically design and construct buildings.
This study tour is considered an outside-the-classroom learning. Importantly, it helps to enhance knowledge and understanding of the construction process, which is an important foundation for architectural design, in depth and efficiently. It also provides students with the opportunity to learn from real experiences and real-world challenges, which will be beneficial in developing skills and competencies in the architectural profession, as well as creating an effective link between education and real-world practice.
We hope that this opportunity will help build a foundation of knowledge and skills for all students to prepare for the future job market, as well as strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and external organizations that are important in promoting integrated learning.
