Design Concept:
The Robotics and Automation Technology Learning Center project at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok is located at the rear of the university’s Rayong campus, Rayong Province. The project covers an area of 9.2 rai (approximately 14,820 square meters).
The design of the center includes exhibition spaces and training areas to accommodate students both from within and outside the university who visit exhibitions and participate in training courses offered by the learning center. The center is divided into four main sections: exhibition area, lecture and hands-on training area, research and development area, and academic seminar area. Each section is designed to meet the needs of its respective users.
The building’s architectural form reflects the concept of advanced technology through its facade and structural design. The building features extended forms beyond typical structures and incorporates a Braced Frame system to enhance the design. This conveys the center’s identity as a technology-focused building for robotics and automation.
The learning center aims to provide students and entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills in robotics and automation technology, empowering them to contribute significantly to the country’s economic development in the future.
