Students from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the workshop entitled “Vernacular and Heritage Built Environment: Digitalisation and Processing.” The workshop was organized through the collaboration of academic partners, including the Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, and the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The workshop was held at Wat Sawat Waree Simaram, an important academic service area and case study site of the College. The activity provided students with opportunities to learn about database development, digital documentation processes, and the application of technology for surveying and recording cultural heritage information. The knowledge gained from the workshop contributes to the development of a database of historical artifacts belonging to the temple and local community, serving as a valuable resource for future education, research, and conservation efforts.

Participation in this workshop represented an important opportunity for students to enhance their digital data management skills while deepening their understanding of the value of vernacular architecture and cultural heritage. These experiences support the development of students’ professional competencies and encourage the application of academic knowledge to professional practice and sustainable community development.

The College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, would like to express its sincere appreciation to Wat Sawat Waree Simaram for generously providing the venue and supporting the activities throughout the project. The College also extends its gratitude to all partner institutions for creating valuable learning opportunities and for their collaborative efforts in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of local communities for future generations.
