Students from the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the Workshop on “Vernacular and Heritage Built Environment: Digitalisation and Processing,” organized through the academic collaboration among the Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University, the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam), and the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The workshop was held at Wat Sawat Waree Simaram, a key academic service area and case study site of the College. The program provided students with hands-on experience in digital documentation, database development, and the application of digital technologies for surveying and recording cultural heritage. These activities contribute to the development of a digital database of historical artifacts belonging to the temple and the surrounding community, serving as a valuable resource for education, research, and heritage conservation.

Participation in this workshop enabled students to strengthen their competencies in digital data management while gaining a deeper appreciation of vernacular architecture and cultural heritage. The experience supports the development of professional knowledge and practical skills that can be applied to architectural practice, heritage conservation, and sustainable community development.

The College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, extends its sincere appreciation to Wat Sawat Waree Simaram for generously providing the venue and supporting the implementation of the workshop throughout the project. The College also gratefully acknowledges all partner institutions for their collaboration in creating valuable learning opportunities and promoting the sustainable preservation of the community's cultural heritage.
