The Faculty of Architecture led students to participate in an international academic collaboration project entitled:

“ACADEMIC CONFERENCE COMPETITION ON ACADEMIC SKILL AND TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN IN THE WORLD HERITAGE CITY OF LUANG PRABANG”

The project was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and the Faculty of Architecture, Souphanouvong University, Luang Prabang, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

The objective of the project was to promote the exchange of knowledge in architecture and technology, enhance design skills for sustainability, and foster awareness of conservation in a World Heritage city context through hands-on learning in real sites within Luang Prabang. This initiative provided a valuable opportunity to broaden students’ experiences, develop new perspectives, and strengthen international academic networks.

Participants in the activity included:

12 students from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University

3 students from Chiang Mai University

18 students from Souphanouvong University

The activity was supported by 8 supervising lecturers, who closely guided and facilitated learning for participants from both countries throughout the program.
