On March 18, 2026, the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the “Future Architect 2026: Integrating Digital Skills and Design for Sustainability” program at Sunanthanusorn Auditorium, SSRU.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Prabhakorn Vatanayakul, President of the Council of Architects and National Artist in Visual Arts (Contemporary Architecture) for the year 2020, and Mr. Pongsakorn Wattanavejarat, Computational Designer from Architects 49 Limited, who delivered a special lecture on “When Architects Lead with Technology: Architecture 5.0.” The session highlighted the integration of architectural knowledge with digital technology, innovation, and sustainable design concepts to create environments that enhance future quality of life.

The report was delivered by Dr. Suriyan Jansawang, Dean of the College of Architecture, and the opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Wittaya Mekkhum, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance.
The main objective of the program was to provide students with insights and real-world experiences from distinguished professionals in the field of architecture, while strengthening their digital and sustainable design skills in preparation for their future careers. This initiative aligns with SSRU’s educational strategy to elevate learning experiences toward professional standards, integrating curricula with labor market demands, supporting employability, and promoting essential future skills, including language proficiency.


The program also enhanced students’ understanding of professional architectural practices and broadened their perspectives in design. More than 300 participants, including experts, lecturers, special instructors, and students from the College of Architecture, attended the session.
