On Friday, 12 December 2025, the College of Architecture organized a study visit for second-year students of the Interior Architecture Program to enhance their learning experience in contemporary museum design and content presentation through storytelling, integrated with interactive media that promote participatory learning. The activity was conducted as part of the course INA 2103: History of Interior Design and Furniture, at the National Discovery Museum Institute (Museum Siam).

The activity was supervised by the course instructors, including:

Ms. Panpim Yimmongkol, Head of the Interior Architecture Program

Ms. Nattakan Pratoomphon

Mr. Pham Le Gia Huy, Foreign Instructor / Visiting Lecturer

During this study visit, students gained insights into the concept of adaptive reuse, transforming historic buildings into public learning spaces. They also studied interior spatial planning, visitor circulation design, the use of lighting, color, and materials, as well as the systematic integration of content with user experience.

This activity significantly enhanced students’ understanding of history, interior architecture, and learning space design, effectively extending classroom knowledge into real-world practice. The experience will contribute to the continued development of students’ professional competencies in their future careers.
