On 20 May 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Somboon Wes, a lecturer at the College of Architecture, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, chaired a meeting of the Architect Ethics Subcommittee to jointly consider and exchange opinions on operational guidelines concerning architectural professional ethics, which are an important part of promoting professional standards, integrity, and social responsibility within the architectural profession.

The Architect Ethics Subcommittee is responsible for examining facts and conducting investigations in cases involving complaints or actions that may constitute violations of professional ethics. If any misconduct is found following an investigation, disciplinary actions will be considered in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the Architect Council of Thailand in order to uphold the standards and credibility of the architectural profession appropriately and professionally.
